Think about this…

Why does it matter to anyone if a gay couple wants to get married? If that threatens your traditional definition of a marriage or your values of a marriage then you are probably not in a strong relationship to begin with. Not to mention, this country has already changed the definition of marriage a few times to allow slaves to marry and to allow bi-racial marriages. No body thinks less of “marriage” now because blacks can marry whites.

Why should your religious beliefs keep gay couples from having the same human & civil rights as heterosexual couples? if an atheist couple can marry and be provided those same rights even though they don’t give a damn about your god then why deny me the same when i actually do believe in God?

and ps. what the hell happened to separation of church & state?? I’m not asking for a Ctholic priest or a Mormon preacher to pronounce me wifey & wifey. Churches don’t have to perform ceremonies for gay couples if they don’t want to. I just want the same tax breaks as a hetero couple. I want to be able to own a home with my lover. I want to be able to visit her in the hospital. I want to be able to adopt a child, together. I don’t want to have to draw up a contract every time we decide to do something, invest in something, or make something TOGETHER. if we are a committed couple we should have the same rights as any other committed couple.

And will people read the Bible before throwing scripture & stories around just because they heard their pastor preach hell & damnation last Sunday! So the activities gay couples engage in are sinful hmm?? i live a life of sin so i will experience the wrath of God!!! well then i guess all you straight God fearing folks with fetishes better not masturbate or have kinky sex (put your dildos away)… or sex at all actually unless you plan on having a child or you’ll be sitting next to me on the bus to hell.

we are all divine beings
the light in me bows down to light in you…
